Meet Our Team
Jennifer Jackson, Founder
As a public speaker, published author, domestic abuse survivor, and now advocate for domestic abuse survivors, Jennifer has worked to make in impact in the lives of others by forming The Lioness Project in 2011 after many years of studying the impacts of abuse. Jennifer envisioned a community and culture of awareness, value of self and others, free from abuse of any kind. Jennifer has 20 years of experience in the financial industry in addition to 10 years of experience in working with victims impacted by abuse. She is a mother of two and included her children in her work in the community to set an example in taking the lead in impacting change within the community.
Sara Carder
Sara Carder, a Texas native, has 20 years of experience in the financial industry and has been a core volunteer with The Lioness Project since 2014. Sara is a mother of a teenage daughter and dedicated to empowering her daughter as well as others to living a confident life free from abuse. She demonstrates service to others by including her daughter in the work she does with The Lioness Project.
Roxanne Drese
Roxanne is a proud mother of two and owner of SkinRX Day Spa. She dedicates her time and resources to making an impact in the community with her work with The Lioness Project. Roxanne has a passion for helping to empower young women and is an advocate for educating teens in confidence building and living lives free of abuse.

SCHOOLS
Teaching children to understand healthy relationship behaviors early is necessary to break the cycle of abuse, especially if these behaviors aren’t modeled at home. Boys who witness domestic violence are twice as likely to abuse their own partners and children when they become adults. Children who are exposed to violence in the home are 15 times more likely to be physically and/or sexually assaulted than the national average.
The Lioness Project offers a Healthy Relationships Class for girls and boys 3rd grade – 12th grade. This class is 40 minutes long covering the following topics:
NON PROFITS
Do you have a shelter that supports women and children who have experienced homelessness? The Lioness Projects provides strength development training and economic advancement workshops to shelters in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex
CORPORATIONS
Would you like empower your team with the information around domestic violence? The Lioness Project will meet with your team to discuss what to do when you recognize domestic violence or the effects of domestic violence in the workplace. We define the many forms of domestic abuse and the impact they have on victims and our community. We would love to share volunteer opportunities to get your team involved in breaking the cycle of abuse.
